Elon Musk Unveils TESLA BOT…and No One Applauds.
Elon’s marketing team thought it was best to unveil the idea for their Tesla Bot by hiring someone to dress up in a suit and dance around to some really strange dubstep/trance-hop music…
He goes on to say that obviously “that wasn’t Tesla Bot” and that “Dojo is Real”, (we’re guessing that was the dancer) and that Tesla Bot “will be real”.
What an opening…
He continues by saying “Tesla is arguably the world’s largest robotics company”, which is interesting – because we were under the impression that Tesla was a really awesome car company. But alas, the plot thickens and change ensues.
We don’t really want to argue with him however, he is sort of right… Tesla has deployed the smartest AI and Machine Learning algorithms to their vehicles – and the more people that drive them, the more Tesla learns.
The Tesla Bot boasts a suite of cool features. Such as being able to dead-lift 150 lbs and carry 45 lbs… It can do repetitive tasks and could potentially stand in for labor tasks that humans just wouldn’t want to do.
The presentation was an interesting one to see. If you wish to see the full Tesla Bot presentation, CNET has the most popular video rolling right now, and you can find that here.
Tesla’s Official website has a small blurb about it that you can find here as well.
